one key aspect of beard maintenance is the use of beard oil.

The length and thickness of your beard will determine how much beard oil you need to use. As with most essential oils, a little will go a long way. The average beard requires 6 drops a day, which means that a one-ounce bottle will last you about 100 uses, or approximately three months. Here are our recommendations for beard oil use:

Beardless – 1 month • 3-4 drops daily treatment

1 – 3 months • 4-6 drops daily treatment

3 – 12 months • 6-10 drops daily treatment

12 months (okay let’s be real..you’re basically a pro..) • 10 drops and up daily treatment

Application Techniques

Now that you have our super awesome beard oil in your palm, you’ll want to rub it between your hands to even the distribution. The next step is to work the beard oil into your skin, then onto your beard. Make sure you don’t neglect the mustache area. Our bearded brothers recommend applying beard oil while your skin is still warm and damp from a recent shower. The pores are open and the beard oil will work itself into the skin.

When we got into making beard oils a few years ago, one of the consistent questions I got was where are you going to make a beard / hair balm? It hasn’t been easy let me tell you! A lot of love, research and time has gone into crafting this beard balm.

I noticed there were not a lot of vegan balm options and wanted to be sure ours would be vegan friendly :) Two years later, we finally have a product we’re proud to offer crafted from the finest organic ingredients we could find.

To use, take a small amount in the palm of your hand and rub together to warm it up. Once its warm, work into the hair, lightly smooth out the frizz and style the shape you desire.

We used a wide variety of great hair oils such as Argan, Jojoba, Perilla and Babassu oil to create a product that leaves your hair / beard fantastic and nourished. The unique blend of candellia wax, sunflower wax, shea butter and tribehenin gives this balm a fabulous texture and hold that doesn't feel crunchy or stiff once it dries.

Hold Level: Light to Medium .
